Top U.S. Vacation Destination: Lake Tahoe

Travel website, TripAdvisor.com has ranked Lake Tahoe first in the U.S. for Top Vacation Destination. Lake Tahoe also ranked #10 worldwide.
The survey takes into account opinions of millions of travelers.
“It is a testament to the beauty of Lake Tahoe, of how appealing it is in all four seasons,” said Tim Maland, director of the Nevada Commission on Tourism.
Big Sur, Calif., was ranked second in the U.S. followed by San Francisco, Poipu, Hawaii, Sedona, Ariz., New Orleans, Carmel, Calif., Napa, Calif.; Lahaina, Hawaii and La Jolla, Calif. Full article
