Dog Sledding Wilderness Adventures

The tranquility and beauty of Lake Tahoe can only be found by experiencing it first hand, by dog sled. There is a humbling sense of peace and quiet as you’re perched in your own dog sled. It does offer a rare and genuine feeling of an accepting partnership with the elements of nature around you.
Wilderness Adventures, owned by Brian and Deanne Maas, have brought dog sledding to the “Lower 48″. The Maas family started their dog sledding company in 1995. They provide dog sledding tours all across the North Lake Tahoe area, seven days a week for as long as weather permits each winter. The tours typically range in length from one hour to even an overnight back-country option. Full article
