Cross country skiing to continues to grow in popularity. Some skiers enjoy the serenity of a quiet off-the-beaten-path location. Others prefer to vacation at beautiful mountain tourist meccas, like Lake Tahoe. Two of the key features are extensive trail networks and a choice of several cross country ski systems.
